Our Promises to You

We understand the concerns every horse owner faces when choosing a farrier; "My farrier doesn't show up", "My farrier won't respond to my calls or texts", "I can't find an experienced farrier" etc.

We intend to put you at ease knowing your horse is not only cared for by a Certified industry professional but supported by a full time scheduling staff to stay on top of your appointments.

Here are just a few of the benefits our clients enjoy:

  • Hoofcare provided by an AFA Certified Farrier.

  • Dedicated scheduling staff to handle your appointment needs.

  • Office available for calls Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm (Central), to answer questions.

  • Next appointment always scheduled in advance at the end of the current appointment.

  • Text reminders before your appointment, notification of arrival time and any potential delays/early arrivals.

  • Confidence knowing your farrier pursues continued education at multiple clinics throughout the year, staying up to date on industry standards and best practices.

  • Efficient and clear communication between farrier, vet and owner on therapeutic cases.

What We Appreciate From Our Clients

We strive to bring our clients the very best service in the industry, these guidelines aid us in staying safe, maintaining a schedule and bringing you the best service possible.

We would love to visit with you if you feel you meet the eligibility criteria below:

  • Consistency of schedule, we firmly REQUIRE our clients to stay on a no more than 6 week rotational schedule.

  • No unnecessary cancellations; we run a very busy schedule and cannot accommodate reschedules due to inconvenience or forgotten appointments. Weather, emergency or unforeseen circumstances excluded.

  • Payment is always due at the time of the appointment, absolutely no exceptions.

  • Horses prepared prior to farrier's arrival; haltered, tied safely, groomed (dry, free of caked mud on their legs, fecal debris cleaned off hind legs if present), fly sprayed (if ambient temperature is high enough for insects), ready to begin without delay.

  • Safe working space; a flat, dry, shaded area free of danger to horse or farrier with access to water/power if applying shoes.

  • Well behaved, well mannered horses; having your horse trained is a different service entirely.

  • No loose animals near the horse being worked on. Other horses, dogs etc. must be put away.
